Pat and I worked in the same building together for a long time for Prince Georges' County Public Schools. Pat and I were often in the field and out of the office but when we were together we really enjoyed each other's company. She was a dear friend and her loss is great. She was always bright and cheery, with a quick smile and a helping hand. I remember her big heart and a broad shoulder to lean on. It was too soon for her to leave. Mary Ann
I have to give thanks to a great friend. Pat and I worked closely on several reunions. We hit it off like she did with many of her students and friends. She invited me to her house for lunch one day and asked if I would like to try her batting cage. I said of course, it was then that I found out how bad I was at hitting a fast ball. We had many laughs and communicated back and forth over the years. She was a sweetheart to all that knew her, and I'll never forget her kindness to me.
