William "Bill" Davis Allen, Sr., age 71, of Dunkirk, MD, passed away on January 24, 2015.
Beloved husband and high school sweetheart, for over 50 years, of Patricia Elizabeth (Butler) Allen, loving father to Matthew P. Allen (Tracy), Douglas C. Allen and the late William D. Allen, Jr. (Patty). He was the devoted grandfather of William R. Allen and Victoria “Tori” E. Allen. He was the brother of Donald L. Allen, Linda Diane Sheldon (Hal) and the late Robert C. Allen. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law of the Butler family, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Mr. Allen was predeceased by his parents, Thurston Power and Eva Virginia (Horsmon) Allen.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Pat and all of Bill's family in his recent passing. I knew him from school, he was always so nice. I remember his car and how he had named it "Wil-Yum" - thought that was so funny - one of the few things I related to my Mom about school things - for some reason it made her just roll with laughter - which is probably why I remember it so vididly.
