Joyce and I were good friends for about four years after highschool. I was her maid of honor at her wedding, and she was my matron of honor at mine. Joyce lived her hell on this earth. I pray that she is now with God. I miss her terribly. Pat Purks Mackne
I was shocked to hear of Joyce's passing. She and Patricia Purks and I used to laugh and carry on back in school - one of our biggest jokes about life was the "night at Duffy's Tavern" - never been there, never knew where it was or if it was, but we got a lot of laughs out of the idea! She will be missed a lot.
