I would like to sing the phrases of Earl Williamson.   More than 15 years ago, when he came back to sell his family house in Oxon Hill, we were able to spend a little time together.

As most of you know, Earl died as a result of a long-time injury that happened in South America.  As I remember the story,  Earl was one of a number of passengers an armed robber was holding up.  A fellow passenger was being terrorized, Earl jumped in front of the woman to protect her, he succeeded, but he got shot and critically injured.
In spite of thereafter living with significant pain,  he had an excellent attitude, sunny philosophy, and true appreciation of life.    I remember being amazed by his still keen love for adventure.

Earl and I were friends and neighbors when we were growing up.  I knew and loved his parents and I am so thankful that he and I had those lovely times together before he moved to Alaska.
I've often thought of him, living happily near his beloved grandchildren.   I'm sure he was a wonderfully positive influence on them and their philosophy of life.
I extend my love and condolences to his family and join those who miss his active presence on earth.

Fish Love Forests - they are the magic producers of oxygen and the keepers of silt out of the waterways...and so many other qualities that we all rely on for our own wellbeing.
Fish are the barometers of water quality just as birds are the barometers of the quality of the forest.

Hermine-so nice to be able to contact you. My hard drive broke - in the middle of our interactions - and then with the new computer - I wasn't "logged in" anymore on the Class of 61 web site. Hope you are doing well and wishing you and your family a wonderful happy New Year.

I remember Louis with sweet warmth.

The recent picture and the school picture both captured her beauty
and showed such lovely continuation.
The posted write up is so deep and heart felt-
I'm happy to have been able to read it.  (thank you Mary Ann)
Louis RIP - sending loving comfort to her closest -
Sissy was a genius housed in a quiet, modest vehicle.
.. lived her life by her belief in the oneness of the universe and all people.
