Sandra Lowry Haupt

After I stopped working, I began crafting. Eventually I had my own woodshop (fully outfitted like the big boys), and sold my crafts in shows and various shops. I open The Stuffed Cupboard, a country craft shop, in Edgewater, MD and later moved to the Annapolis Harbour Center.

We moved from Maryland to Florida about 8 years ago. We love it here but I miss blue crabs steamed in Old Bay. Even when you can find them here, they're boiled!

Since moving to Florida, I've written and performed a few stand-up comedy routines and appeared in a couple of dramas here in our community. I've also written 4 short comedies, one of which has been published and performed 5 times. I also paint and make jewelry and sell them locally. That leaves little time for housework and cooking, but that's why God made housekeepers and restaurants.

I remember the OHHS Art Club making a Clipper ship float for a homecoming game.

I also remember having pneumonia and being in the hospital, barely making it out for graduation. The silver lining was that I also missed many of my finals!
