I posted a note today on Catherine Virginia (Ginny) Smith’s page On this site but not sure that post would be seen here.  I am sad to give this news, but Ginny passed away on July 2, 2018 in Virginia Beach where she has lived for a number of years.  We’ have been friends since 10th grade and have stayed in touch all these years despite the distance between us.  Our phone conversations would last hours. We were in each other’s wedding and she was godmother to my daughter and I was godmother to her son Fred.  I attended her memorial service on July 6.  I miss her already.  Wanted to let you all know about this.  I hope the right person gets this message to edit her profile accordingly.  Thank you.

Sandra McNickle

Dear Students,

Thank you for the birthday wishes I received on my natal day.  I was 84 on December 26.  I am fairly P.O'd that this virus is keeping me from doing all the things I would like to be doing as my expiration date is currently unknown!  My doctor says I am in excellent health (she didn't even add "for your age.") I keep busy with many activities (if they aren't cancelled!)  I have five grands, the younger two are in college.  He is at VCU pursuing Theater Arts; she is in her final semester of grad school.  I have one great grand who is a beautiful fifteen going on 40 - teens aren't what they used to be.  The other three are in the working world.

I hope you are all very well and enjoying life.

Much Affection,

Sandra McNickle

Miss McNickle, this is George Moxon.  I also would like to wish you a late birthday wish.  It struck me that when we were in school, you seemed older.  Now, you seem younger.  It is amazing how things change.  But, it is good to hear you are doing well and enjoying your grandchildren, as am I.  My youngest grandchildren are juniors in high school and we alswys enjoy visiting witith them.  I am anxiously awaiting for the times to open up and the pandemic to slow or end.  Hopefully soon.  Then we can travel again.  Take Care and Be Safe.

Hi to all my friends in the class of 61. I hope this finds you and yours well.

You trusted me some 60 yrs ago; please trust me now and tell your congressional representatives and senators to vote responsibly and compassionately and stop the chaos that we see in government.

I'm with you with respect to reducing the chaos created by Trump. He and his minions are are so anxious for their "shock and awe" campaign to go forward, that they are not stopping to think of their actions. Fasten your seat belts classmates. Doug McFadden

Careful what you post.  Even Republicans can join Democrates on the Hit List.  Only one thing counts and that is your vote.  Other than that watch out for the changes coming ever day.  Slowly but surely our Government is changing and we may miss the outcome.

Well I guess moving forward WOKE DEI has really effected folks in our age group and class.

I have meet with President Trump thru my work with veterans-talked concerning many

issues that needed to be fixed-as of now he has solved many of these problems.

Our  goverment spends money like drunken sailors and it has to stop !

I respect ALL other folks opionions on Pres Trump but I also have mine.

Moved from Maryland (Nothing free in the freestate) Taxes Crime and goverment over reach

I now live in South Carolina a Constitutional Carry State where DIXIE began

I can say this from my heart folks here respect each other - yes we have stupid here too but nothing like

it is up north.

Americans voted and spoke with their votes in the last election.

Thank you, Tommy.  Some of us left the echo chamber long ago. Wonderful to be a free thinker.
